Here’s a film that is being made solely for record purposes. In a bid to make a film that goes from the script to the screen within 12 days, Suresh Joachim, a fifty-time Guiness Record holder, has launched the film, titled Sivappu Malai. The film, in which he plays a hero himself, with be produced by his Joachim International and Suresh Joachim Entertainment.

The film was launched in Puducherry, who most part of the shooting will be done, until June 3. It was a grand launch, though not in the traditional format.

Despite being a film for the records, it has an enviable bevy of stars, like Meera Jasmine as the heroine and Vairamuthu as the lyricist. Deva composes music for this film, which is being directed by V Krishnamurthy. Others in the cast include Vivek, Bose Venkat and actor Suman.

Shooting for the film will be held in Nalla Farm House in Puducherry.
