Director SJ Suryah dared to show the concept of living together, without tying the nuptial knot in 'Anbe Aaruyire'. A western concept of a man and a woman living together without getting married, journalist turned filmmaker Ganesh Chinnappa is all set to attempt it in his Tamil film, 'Anmai Kaalamaai'.

As its title suggests, the film is based on this recent concept and Ashwatha, who is making her debut in 'Karagam', is the female lead, playing the role Sumathi in the film. Ooty-based actress Bhargavi plays the role of a techie, Swetha for the film for which Siva Rooban composes the music and Ram Murugesh cranks the camera.

The film is all set to be launched in a different way next week, following the director Ganesh’s wedding on April 20 at Tuticorin. Soon after the wedding, the bride will click the clapboard and the film will go on the floors.

Ironical it is that a marriage will precede the launch of a film based on a couple living together without the social institution, marriage. Ganesh is getting married to Magindhali, alias Mythili, a refugee from a Sri Lankan camp.
