It’s calm after the storm, with regards to director Vikram K Kumar. After recently leaving his audiences at the edge of their seat with 'Yaavarum Nalam', he is all set to direct a love story.

His debut venture, 'Alai', did not exact makes waves, but we can forgive this man his one mistake. But when he bounced back, a good five years later, with 'Yaavarum Nalam', he made heads turn. Vikram, again, is set to indulge in some eye candy, doing a breezy romance next.

Speaking about this, the director says “I don’t want to be known as the horror director. I’m planning on a love story next. It will definitely not have a thriller angle to it and will portray love in a never-seen-before way. I owe a great part of Yaavarum Nalam’s success to my cinematographer, PC Sreeram sir. I have learnt a lot from him and have also approached him to do my next film. Let’s see how this works out.”

‘Yaavarum Nalam’, ‘13B’ in Hindi, is a supernatural thriller and was released early last month. The movie is faring extremely well and has even led to talks and discussions about a sequel, besides a Hollywood adaptation and a television programme.
