If Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth banners adorned the USA during the release of their ‘Dasavatharam’ and ‘Kuselan’, its Suriya’s turn this time for ‘Ayan’. The movie, which will hit screens this Friday, shows Suriya as an action hero.

“After playing roles which have not made him look good, ‘Ayan’ will be a good change. And Suriya will play a young boy next door, who is celebrated by the people around him, after he makes an achievement,” says the film’s director KV Anand.

Posters of the film, featuring Suriya, have been placed at the metro rail station in New Jersey to promote the film there. With foreigners said to focus more on Indian films following the Oscars, looks like this film is all set to make waves outside Tamil Nadu too.
