Film maker Chimbu Devan is gearing up for the production of his third movie titled as ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’.

This time the director who gave Kollywood vastly different films like ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’ and ‘Arai En 305il Kadavul’ is again preparing to give a big surprise to the film lovers.

After more than three decades the Tamil film industry is going to see a full length cowboy flick.

The story of this film with a refreshing concept is set in the 17th century.

‘Ganga’ which was made 38 years ago by Jai Shankar was the last movie in Kollywood to have a ‘Cowboy’ theme attached to it.

The film media will find it hard to get hold of the photographs while the photographs of ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’ take place. The reason is that the whole film has been planned to be shot in Madhya Pradesh and some other locations in North India.

The financers of this project having a budget of around 15 crores are very much optimistic that the movie is going to be a hot topic when released.

As of now all the artists selected for the period flick are undergoing training for gun shooting and horse riding.

Raghava Larencce, Lakshmi Rai, Padma Priya and Nasser are the lead actors of ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’.
