This Valentine day, Kollywood will witness a romantic entertainer very apt for the occasion hitting the screens. The film 'Karthik Anitha' will be hitting the screens this February. It's a clean entertainer targeting youngsters, promises debutant director Sri Hari, a former art director.

Produced by Shankar V Raajhan, the film features newcomer Rathan as hero. Kota Srinivasa Rao and Rajan P Dev play prominent roles in the film. The former dons Rathan's dotting dad in the film.

The music has been composed by a newcomer, Jack Anand who has sung in a few films. Speaking about the film, Sri Hari said, "No doubt the film will appeal to the youth audience since it deals with romance between a girl and boy next door with the comical element of generation gap thrown in."

Rathan is the son of makeup man Babu. A newcomer Manju plays the heroine. K G Shankar and A Vel Murugan cranked the camera, while Sai Suresh handles editing. The other credits go to GK for art direction, Na Muthukumar, Yughabharathi, Thamarai and Srinivas for lyrics, and for Prabhu Srinivas, Srinivasa for choreography.
