The famed production house Vijaya Vahuni that was run by Nagi Reddy churned out numerous classics such as 'Patala Bhairavi', 'Missiamma', 'Maya Bazaar', 'Julie' (Hindi) etc. One of the largest and famed production houses of Asia, the heirs of Nagi Reddy are coming up with a film named 'Enga Veetu Pillai'.

No….it has got nothing to do with the MGR classic except for its name. The film is to star Bharath and music will be composed by young Dharan. The film is to be directed by Badri who made the film 'Veerappu' starring Sundar C and Gopika.

'Enga Veettu Pillai' bears an indelible mark associated with the evergreen personality that MGR was. It might be just impossible for Bharath to make a mark with the title, but then with a good storyline he might just go ahead to record success.
