At a time when music directors in Tamil film industry go abroad to countries like Thailand and Malaysia for composing songs, music composer Sundar C Babu sounds different.

I don't want to burden the purse of my producers by insisting that I would go abroad for composing the tunes, says Sundar C Babu, whose songs in 'Chithiram Pesuthadi' went on to become a big hit. He is working in a host of films including 'Panchamirtham', 'Agam Puram', 'Nadodigal' and 'Anandham Arambham'.

'I have been branded as a music composer who comes out only with 'kuthu pattu', especially after 'Valameenukum Vilangu Meenukum' in 'Chithiram Pesuthadi'. I cam come out with quality melodies too which will be evident from my future tunes'.

I will continue to encourage and introduce new music composers, says Sundar C Babu.
