A popular comedian in reel life, Vadivelu seems to be a pretty serious man in his real life.

The actor, who has won the hearts of millions with his rustic and down-to-earth comedies hurled warnings to actor-cum-politician Vijayakanth.

Taking part in a press meet organized by RK to celebrate the good opening for his recent-release 'Ellam Avan Seyal', Vadivelu said that after attacks on his house by supporters of Vijayakanth reportedly, he is constantly being imbued with death threats through the telephone.

"I vouch that I would campaign against Vijayakanth and his men in the forthcoming elections", he added.

Speaking on the occasion, RK said, 'the movie has received good response from fans. I thank all my co-stars especially Vadivelu and director Shaji Kailash for making this happen'.

The movie was a remake of Malayalam hit 'Chintamani Kola Case' and RK played the role enacted by Suresh Gopi in the original.
