'Thenavattu' is going to hit screens only on 21st of November. Initially, slated for a release on 14 November, ‘Thenavattu’, produced by ELK Anthony, will be presented by Sun Pictures throughout Tamilnadu.

Starring Jeeva and Poonam Bajwa, the movie is touted to be a commercial entertainer. Sun Pictures had earlier successfully distributed ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’. Now their next 'Thenavattu' is directed by debutant Kathir. Kathir had worked as associate with director Seeman and Suryaprakash.

Srikanth Deva has scored the music. Says Jeeva, "The storyline of 'Thenavattu' is quite interesting. Kathir has worked hard. The end product will certainly be engrossing'.

The supposed to be released date has been changed for a reasonable cause. The delayed release by a week depicts they have avoided a direct clash with the Suriya starrer 'Varanam Aayiram' at the box office.
