The yesteryear glam doll of Tamil cinema Simran is having a gala time this Deepavali. The actress, who is on a comeback mode, will have couple of her movies releasing on the festive day.

Simran, who chose to bid adieu to acting temporarily after her wedding with Deepak Bhagga, made her comeback playing a prominent role in a television serial. She was immediately flooded with offers from the big screen. They include ‘Varanam Aayiram’ and ‘Seval’. The former features Suriya in the lead role, while the latter features Bharath in the lead.

Simran has a prominent role to play in both the films. She has song sequences too in these movies. The actress is optimistic that her second innings would begin with a bang from Deepavali.

She heaped laurels on both directors Gautham Menon and Hari and said both are films in different genres and would strike it rich at the box office.
