Navya Nair is one of the few heroines from the Kerala Film industry who managed to make a name for herself for her acting skills. At a time when heroines believe in skin show for their longevity in the industry, Navya Nair seems to thinks otherwise.

Says Navya Nair, "Though I have not been part of a hugely hit Tamil film as yet, people in Tamilnadu respect and love me a lot for my acting skills. I am thrilled about it. I vouch that I will not disappoint them", she said.

Expressing confidence that she would render a blockbuster in Tamil very soon, Navya Nair said, "My forthcoming release 'Rassikkum Seemanae' opposite Srikanth has really come out well. My role is very special and director Vidhyadharan has done a good job".

She is currently acting in a couple of Malayalam films 'Violet' and 'Benares', besides a Kannada flick 'Boss'.
