Simran, who recently started her second innings in Tamil Cinema, is very clearly trying her hand at different avatar. In tune with this, she has decided to fulfill a longtime dream of her's and that is to direct a film.
If sources are to be believed, Simran has requested ace director Maniratnam to allow her to assist him in a movie, so that she could learn the nuances of film-making. It is said that Mani too has responded positively to the plea of Simran.
Reflecting this, the actress said, 'It is my ambition to direct a film, ever since I started my career in the industry. Hope it will become a reality soon.'
