Suriya starrer ‘Ayan’ was shot extensively in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The crew is now planning to shift to exotic locales in Zanzibar (part of the Eastern African Republic of Tanzania).

Says a happy cinematographer - director K V Anand, ' ‘Ayan’ starring Suriya and Tamanna is shaping up fast. AVM Productions deserves a pat for giving us necessary encouragement to shoot the film.'

We shot a few stunt sequences in Malaysia, which was choreographed by William Hong of ‘Billa’ fame. Now we are planning to shoot some important scenes in Zanzibar as places like Australia and Switzerland have been exposed well in Tamil cinema a lot'.

‘Suriya is busy completing ‘Varanam Aayiram’ and Tamanna with Ananda Thandavam. Once those movies are over, ‘Ayan’ will be completed in one go’, he added.
