Director Perarasu has a penchant to name his movies after popular towns in Tamilnadu. He started with 'Thirupachi' and followed it up with 'Sivakasi', 'Thirupathy', 'Dharmapuri' and 'Pazhani'.

And now, Perarasu will join hands with Arjun for his next directorial venture titled 'Thiruvannamalai'.

According to Perarasu, 'it would be a commercial entertainer. Plans are on to commence shooting from 10 June. Search is on for the heroine'. Srikanth Deva will score music for the film.

Perarasu has also agreed to direct a movie for Sakthi Chidambaram's Cinema Paradiso.
