After playing the baddie to Rajinikanth in ‘Sivaji’, it is the turn of Suman to act opposite Rajni's son-in-law Dhanush in ‘Padikathavan’.

Suman plays a dreaded villain in the movie. He dons the role of actresss Tamana's father in the film. The movie is directed by Suraj, who rendered hits like ‘Thalainagaram’ and ‘Marudhamalai’.

According to Suraj, ‘ ‘Padikathavan’ is a racy and a commercial entertainer. It has action and romance all through'.
