We had already informed you about Sony BMG acquiring the music rights for 'Dasavadharam'.

Sony BMG is the home to over 10,000 artists ranging from Elvis to Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.

Sony BMG Music Entertainment is the home to Film and Non-Film Superstars that include Mani Ratnam (Guru), UTV (Rang De Basanti), Dharma productions (Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kabhie Khushie Kabhi Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho), Aamir Khan Productions (Lagaan), A R Rahmans (Vande Mataram), Kailash Khers (Kailasa), Jagjit SinghGulzars (Marasim & Koi Baat Chale) and the Indian Idol and Fame Gurukul series among many.
Working on the regional music industry front, Sony BMG entered into the growing music market in Tamil Nadu by acquring the music rights of 'Dasavadharam'. The film is produced and distributed by V. Ravichandran.
With the Sony BMG's Tamil music label, Himesh Reshammiya is also marking his presence felt in Kollywood as the music director of the film. The music for this film is slated to be launched in the first week of March. He has done another Tamil movie titled 'Bommalaattam', directed by Bharathiraja. both films are released in Hindi too.
Also in the pipeline are several non-film albums, which includes an album by Yuvan Shankar, which marks Sony BMG's foray into the as-yet unexplored Tamil Pop and non-film music space.
Oscar Films' V Ravichandran said, "Dasavadharam is getting ready for a worldwide solo release on 10 April. It will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously, the number of prints and publicity campaign are being worked out."
Sony BMG India MD Shridhar Subramaniam adds, "It is a privilege for us to enter the Tamil music market with a project as grand and special as 'Dasavadharam'. 'Dasavadharam' features Kamal Haasan in ten different roles and actress Asin's dual role in the movie. Mallika Sherawat dons an altogether different cap in this movie. She appears as a CIA agent along with Jayapradha.
