The shooting of ‘Indiralohathil Na. Azhagappan’ witnessed some unfortunate incidents when the unit went to Adikesava Perumal Koil located in Sriperumputhur.

Thousands of people gathered on the shooting spot knowing that Vadivelu and many other actors were visiting there. The problem came when the whole unit had break fast served in leaves. Most of them threw away the leaves in the premises of the temple after eating.

This had irked the local people, who took strong objection to such acts. They went to the extent of stalling the shooting. Then the councilors and other officials of the area came to the spot. Even they could not calm down the public. Finally they requested the unit to vacate the place for the time being. The team paid heed to their advice and packed up.

The unit, however, silently came back after the people had left and conducted the shooting without any hitches.

‘Indiralohathil’, which is one of the major releases on the eve of Pongal, is in its finals stage. The shooting is over but the patch works are going on.
