2008 will be another great year for the fans of superstar Rajinikanth. The unquestionable king of box office is said to have prepared his mind on his new project. The film is likely to be directed by the versatile Ragava Larencce, who has just finished his Telugu flick Don starring Nagarjuna.

The film, it is believed, will be produced by Rajini’s mentor K. Balachandar. Panju Arunachalam, who has produced a number of Rajini’s earlier films, is expected to be the joint producer.

It is strongly rumoured that the superstar has given his nod to the dance master turned director Larencce, who has grown in stature after his all round show in Don. In Don, he has handled story, dialogues, screenplay, choreography, and music, besides donning an important role.

To add credibility to the news, sources point out Rajinikanth’s acceptance of the invitation of the director to view his latest offering Don. He saw the film in a special show arranged for him in Four Frames Preview Theatre in Chennai on December 23. This is seen as a positive signal from the superstar.

If the news is confirmed, it will be the real big thing to be happened in 2008.
