Raja seduced by the songs

Raja, the hero of 'Kanna' released this week, has acted in 18 films in Telugu. Many of his films have seen silver jubilee. He made his debut in 'Vijayam' produced by Rama Naidu. He has thus far paired with leading heroines like Shriya, Jenelia, Shreya Reddy, and Sneha.

Looking beyond the bio data, how has he landed in Kollywood? Anand, the director of Kanna saw 'Anand', the movie starring Raja. 'Anand' impressed Anand and so did the hero.

Anand then invited the hero to tell him the story of 'Kanna'. Before narrating the story Anand has shown the songs set to tunes by Ranjith Barot to Raja. The hero was mesmerized by the songs and accepted to act.

Moral of the story: good songs could fetch handsome heroes.
