Mirugam, which is having a decent run at the box office, plans to attract women audiences. Since the movie is ‘A’ certified it is natural that the womenfolk keeps away from the theatre. However, after getting confidence from the first week’s response and the critical acclaim, the unit has decided to aggressively market the film among women.

There will be a free show in Udhayam Theatre in Chennai on Saturday (December 22). The matinee show will be free for women. The gents who accompany the women will have to pay for the ticket.

Director Sami, who met the media persons recently, expressed confidence that women would definitely like the film. Now the unit has taken steps to attract the womenfolk to the theatres with an aim to make the film acceptable to all sections of the society.
