Sathyanarayana, the president of All India Rajinikanth Fans Club, has come out with a statement on the eve of Superstar Rajinikanth’s 57th birthday on Superstar’s political ambitions. He has categorically said that Rajini has no intentions or aspirations of coming to politics.

Sathyanarayana’s statement would be as a big disappointment to the fans. Most of the fans are still hoping that their ‘Thalaivar’ would come to politics one day or the other. Members of the fan clubs across the Tamil Nadu were youngsters while they join the club. Now they are in their forties. It is but natural that they would feel let down by this announcement, given their dedicated services to the growth of the clubs.

Even Sathyanarayana has acknowledged this frustration by addressing this particular point. "We do feel for those who have dedicated themselves for the development of the fan clubs", said the statement. It also advices the fans not fell bad comparing the evolution of Vijayakanth’s fan clubs into political outfits. The person close to the Superstar said that there was no meaning in feeling jealous about Vijayakanth fan clubs. "Vijayakanth’s hard work and relentless efforts are behind such development".

Sathyanarayana has requested the fans to understand that Superstar has no such aspirations in politics and hence it won’t be nice to expect such activities from him. He has also drawn the attention of the fans to the fact that political activities would bring in lot of mental pressure, as experienced by Vijayakanth nowadays.

The statement is so clear that it would discourage the political aspirations of the fans. It would definitely be a great disappointment to those who have been hoping to fulfill their political aspirations if Superstar decides to enter into politics at some point of time.

However, one cannot predict as to what future has in store. As a famous punch dialogue in Rajini’s blockbuster Uzhaippali goes, "Nethu naan coolie.. enniku naan nadigan.. naalaikku...? Sila per solranga naan eppadi varuven appadi varuven.. naan eppadi varuvennu andavanukku mattum thaan theriyum.." (Yesterday I was a coolie, today I'm an actor, tomorrow...? people may say what they want. But what I'll become, only god knows).
