Vegam, the debutant movie of Ashwin Shekhar, might have turned out to be a forgettable one. Father S.Ve. Shekher, however, is ready to provide his son with another opportunity to become successful. He has planned to direct a film featuring his son.

Shekher has sprung in a surprise with the choice of the story. He has opted to make the second part of Manal Kayiru, which brought him to the limelight. The comical family drama, directed by Visu, was a hilarious entertainer and a super hit movie.

S.Ve. Sekher is said to have created a script that fits the bill as a sequel and as a contemporary movie as well. Ashwin Shekher might play the role enacted by his father in the original. Search is on for a heroine.

S.Ve. Shekher informed that he had approached Visu, and Santhi Krishna to be part of the movie. Both of them played important roles in the original.

The movie will commence this January. Buzz is that Crazy Mohan has been urged to pen the dialogues.
