Elated at playing the female lead in 'Uliyin Osai' is Keerthi Chawla. The young actress plays Vineeth's ladylove in 'Uliyin Osai', a movie which is inspired by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's novel Sarapallam Samundi.

Keerthi Chawla says, "I consider myself very lucky to act in a movie that would have storyline and dialogues by Karunanidhi. I play Samundi, a pivotal character in the movie".

Keerthi Chawla has been learning Bharathanatyam since her young age. She says, " I am happy that I got an opportunity to show my dancing skills on the screen. Also I am undergoing rigorous Tamil tuitions to get my Tamil diction right while delivering dialogues for 'Uliyin Osai' ".

"It is a rare opportunity in my life and I relish every moment working in such a coveted project", she adds.
