Thangar eyes Deepavali release

Thangar is busy giving final touches to his movie 'Onbathu Rupai Nottu' to try release the movie for Deepavali.
According to the cinematographer director, I am planning to release the film this Deepavali and hence in a hurry to finish shooting.
Speaking about the film, he says, It is different, from the point of view of both the actors and me. October has played a very important role in my life.
The movie is inspired by Thangar's novel titled the same.
He says, My father passed away in October 1985. I started to write the story for 'Onbadhu Rubai Nottu' and finished it and released the first edition in October 1996. As of now the novel has seen six editions and won several awards including the Tamilnadu Government's prize for the best novel. And it has been included in the MA syllabus of different universities.
The cast includes Sathyaraj, Archana, Nasser, Rohini, Satish Kumar and Nithesh Pandian. Music is by Bharadwaj, editing by B Lenin, art by Jackson.
