Kushboo, who had been approached to do the role of Trisha's mother in Abhiyum Nanum, a film directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Prakah Raj had reportedly declined the offer. Following this, Malayalam actress Lakshmi Gopalasamy is donning the role.

According to sources, the yesteryear glamdoll was approached by the director, considering the importance of the role in the film. However, Kushboo had refused the offer.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Abhiyum Nanum would commence on 15 October at Munnar. The film has Trisha and Prakash Raj pivotal roles. Preetha handles the camera while Vidyasagar takes care of the music.
