After Porukki starring Sundar C, director Kicha will commence a movie starring Sathyaraj in the lead role. Titled Thangam, the movie would hit the floors very soon.

A debutante will be playing the female lead in the movie. Srikanth Deva is scoring the music.

According to Kicha, ‘Sathyaraj is tailor-made for the role. He plays an influential man in a village, who commands great respect for his good deeds. He is married by a young woman and the travails that he undergoes after the marriage forms the crux’.

With Thangam, Sathyaraj has nearly half-a-dozen films in his kitty now.
