Award spurs Genelia

Genelia, who is shooting for the Tamil remake of Bommarillu (Santosh Subramaniam), is happy and thrilled now. For the actress had won the annual Filmfare award for best actress for her performance in Bommarillu.

A thrilled Genelia, says, “I am happy that my acting skills have been rightly recognized. The award will do a lot of good for me. While shooting for Bommarillu, I was confident that I would be getting the laurels of film-buffs”.

“Language is never a barrier for me”, Genelia says and adds, “I am happy acting in different languages including Tamil, Telugu and Kannada”.

Thanking directors for keeping faith in her and giving her challenging roles, she says, “I am ready to act even in a small role. But it should get me due recognition”.
