It is now time for Tamil cinema to hog limelight internationally. Following the recognition in Cannes, Kollywood citizens would now be honored in Singapore on 14 July at the International Tamil Film Awards (ITFA) ceremony.

Organized jointly by Singapore-based International Media Consultancy and Chennai-based V4 Entertainers, the event would be held at Max Pavilion Expo Stadium at Singapore in a grand way. A press release said that awards would be given to those who were selected through a SMS contest.

The release also added that Simbu, Bharath, Arya, Prakash Raj, Jeeva, Sneha, Reema Sen, Nila and Shobana would participate in the function among others.

Various cultural shows are also being planned as part of the event.
