Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on Monday watched Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji at AVM Studios in Chennai.

A great admirer of Tamil films, Karunanidhi was received at the studios by A V M Saravanan and M S Guhan. The screening commenced at 6.30 pm.

Sivaji, one of the costliest films made in Tamil cinema, features Rajnikanth, Shriya, Vivek and Suman in the lead roles. Music is by A R Rahman and cinematography by K V Anand.

Sivaji will hit the screens on 15 June. The advance booking commenced Sunday and within a couple of hours, all the tickets were sold for the opening week.
