Silambarasan's Kaalai is fast shaping up. The young hero is shooting day and night for Kaalai directed by Tharun Gopi.

Talking at the sets of Kaalai in Karaikudi, Silambarasan says,”After Vallavan, I consciously chose to take a break. Working for Vallavan was so hectic since I had to combine both the jobs of an actor and director”.

“Kaalai is an interesting tale of romance with twists and turns. The story has come good and I hopeful of a success”.

On his inspiration, Silambarasan, says, “I am motivated watching the movies of Rajnikanth and Jackie Chan. They ooze with energy”.

“The industry is very competitive these days. There are many talented actors. A success alone will help you stay in the industry”. Son of actor-director Vijaya T Rajendher, Silambarasan says, shooting for Kettavan would also commence shortly.
