The action in Kollywood has shifted from Kodambakam to Malaysia now. A total of four films are now being shot simultaneously shot in Kuala Lumpur. With a huge Tamil population living in Malaysia, the Tamil films are already a big hit in the country.

Now with a host of movies being made in Malaysia, the film-buffs are having a gala time visiting the sets and interacting with their favorite heroes.

Ajith's Billa, a remake of Rajinikanth's yesteryear blockbuster titled the same1977, a movie starring Keerthi Chawla, S Ve Shekher's son Ashwin's maiden Tamil venture Vegam and director Priya's Kanamoochi Enada are being shot in Malaysia now.

‘Since obtaining permission is easy and people are very co-operative there, the directors prefer to shoot films in Malaysia now’, says a source in the Tamil film industry.
