Director Ravichandran is back after a brief exile. The director who came up with hits in Kannethire Thondrinal and Majnu, is ready with his next Urchagam.

Featuring Nanda and Sherin in lead roles, the movie has musical score by Ranjit Barot. Produced by G V Films, the movie will make it to screens this summer.

Says Ravichandran, “The film is almost over. It has been delightful working with the producers Mahadevan Ganesh and Usha Venkatramani of GV Films. We have shot some scenes and songs in Bangkok, Puket, Lankavi Islands, Goa, Jodhpur, Puducherry and Chennai. Vivek and Vaiyapuri are doing important roles. Dinesh Lamba is introduced as the main villain of the film. It is a love story but there are elements to make it offbeat in an absorbing way. The hero and the heroine love each other but there are hurdles. How they cope is the story”.
