Riding high on the good opening for Koodal Nagar is Sandhya.

Though Bharath acted in dual roles and Bhavana played the prominent heroine, it was Sandhya's cameo as a rural belle that caught the admiration of cine-buffs. Sandhya's expressions and body language won her rave reviews.

Currently shooting in Udhagamandalam, Sandhya expressed her gratitude to director Seenu Ramasamy for giving her a good role. “When the director narrated the story, I was impressed with the character. It was new experience for me to do such a role. But thanks to my co-stars and well-wishers, I managed to come out with a good show. I am thrilled when everyone appreciates me today”.

She is eagerly waiting to commence the shooting for Selvaraghavan's next film Idhu Malai Nerathu Mayakkam. She is confident that the movie would propel her career in Tamil filmdom.
