Director Ezhil is a happy man now. The man, who delivered a couple of hits in Thullatha Manamum Thullum and Penin Manathai Thottu.

Thanks to director Lingusamy, Ezhil got an opportunity to prove his skills in wielding the megaphone.

Ezhil churned out Deepavali for Lingusamy's production venture. The movie starring Jayam Ravi and Bhavana released a couple of months ago.

On Friday, Deepavali successfully completed a 50-day run at the box office and is still going strong.

A happy Ezhil, says, “I thank the Tamil audience for making the movie click. People are receptive to new ideas and movies with fresh themes. Deepavali is a pointer to it. I thank my producer Lingusamy and the cast and crew of my movie for the successes.”
