It's a different battle at the box office this March. Two films on the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's assassination would hit the theatres this month.

On 23 March, Kuttra Pathirigai directed by RK Selvamani would see the light of the day.The movie had been in the cans for a long time. It witnessed a trouble with Censor Board and finally all issues were sorted out after the intervention of the Madras High Court.

The movie deals in detail about the LTTE.

Ready for release on 30 March is Kuppi, the Tamil dubbing of the Kannada blockbuster Cyanide. Directed by Ramesh, the movie throws light on the last days of the killers of Rajiv Gandhi.

Small screen fame Malavika and Nasser play prominent roles in the movie.

Kuppi is produced by Vishwas Sundar.
