On a roll is actor Karthi. His mobile phone is ringing non-stop with congratulatory messages.

Karthi's performance in his maiden venture Paruthi Veeran, which released recently, is the talk of the town. A visibly thrilled Karthi is planning to go all around Tamil Nadu to promote the film along with director Ameer.

“I want to tour Tamil Nadu with Ameer and see how people are reacting to Paruthi Veeran,” says Karthi. Karthi's next, Idhu Malai Nerathu Mayakkam, directed by Selvaraghavan will begin early next month.

Meanwhile, Karthi is happy for his sister-in-law's (Jyothika) film Mozhi. The film released simultaneously with Paruthi Veeran and it is also doing good business.

He says, “It is double delight for our family.”

“I am very happy that my film Paruthi Veeran got released at the same time as Jyothika's Pachaikili Muthucharam and Mozhi. Both her films are doing very well.”
