Director Ameer's much hyped movie which marks the debut of Suriya's sibling Karthi has hit the screens today.

The director, Ameer, is confident of the movie's good showing.

Movies on villages have become a rarity these days. "If one makes an honest attempt to portray realistic elements in his films with utmost sincerity, no doubt it would succeed," Ameer says.

On his part, Karthi is bubbling with enthusiasm.

"It is an acid test for me.Hope I pass the test with flying colours, getting a nod from the film-buffs," he says.
