Silambarasan to act under cameraman turned director

Silambarasan is always ready to experiment in his roles and his films always have a strong technical nous.

So it is no wonder that he agreed to do a movie under a cameraman who is turning into a director.

Saravanan is the man under whom Simbu is now getting ready to act.

Saravanan is one of the well-known cinematographers in Tamil. He has handled over 30 movies so far and is a proven talent.

Now he is turning into a director through a film named Silambattam. Nic Arts is producing the flick. The other details are being finalized.

The director felt that such a commercial entertainer which details about a valorous young man needed a strong hero. Hence Simbu, he said.

Saravanan is married to former actress Sangeetha.
