Thamirabarani fame Banu impressed one and all with her performance in the movie. Though it was her maiden venture in Tamil, she hogged the limelight for her measured performance in the film.

The latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that the actor from the God's Own Country has been urged to do a prominent role in Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam.

The actor is yet to make up her mind on this offer.

Thrilled with the success of Thamirabarani, Banu says, “I am really happy that my first film has become such a big hit. I would like to act in another film with Vishal. I am even more eager to act with Rajini sir. My dream is to emerge a top actor in Tamil cinema.”
