Rumors were doing rounds that 'Super Star' Rajinikanth had asked director Murugadoss to pen a story for him ever since the release of Ramana.

Last week, Rajinikanth and Murugadoss travelled in the same flight to Mumbai and held discussions about their ongoing projects.

Sources say that the actor made anxious enquiries about Murugadoss' recent Telugu release Stalin. Also, he expressed his desire to work with Murugadoss very soon.

Buzz is that Rajinikanth, after Sivaji, would do a movie for his mentor K Balachander's Kavithalaya. In 2008, it is likely that Rajinikanth would act in a movie to be produced by former State Minister R M Veerappan's Sri Sathya Movies banner and it would be directed by Murugadoss.

It will be an interesting combination to look out for.
