Director Shankar's Veyyil has been declared a hit. It has not only brought fame and stardom to director Vasantha Balan and Pasupathy, but also to young music composer G V Prakash.

Nephew of music wizard A R Rahman, G V Prakash came up with six songs in Veyyil, which were quite different from each other.

The audio became a big hit and the re-recording for the movie was also highly appreciated.

After watching the whole movie, director Shankar heaped laurels on the young lad for his excellent work and vouched that he is sure to go places and establish a name for himself in the industry.

“I felt the same after listening to Rahman in Gentleman. Prakash is a talent to watch out for,” said Shankar.

As a result, G V Prakash is now flooded with offers. He has commenced work for Ajith's Kireedom, which is being produced by Suresh Balaji Films.

At the young age of 19, Prakash has created an impact among music-lovers. Emulating his uncle is G V Prakash.
