Suriya is one of the rare actors in Kollywood, who strives for variety. Since Nandha, the actor has tried out variety of roles and has managed to make it big in Kollywood.

After his high-profile wedding with actress Jyothika, Suriya would act in a movie to be directed by Gowtham Menon titled Udal, Porul, Aavi.

Early next year, Suriya would be part of a movie to be directed by Hari for producer Mohan Natarajan. After Perazhagan, Suriya dons the dual role for the movie again.

Though my Sillunu Oru Kadhal had an average outing, I am hopeful that my next would do big, Suriya said and added, both my movies would be different from each other.

On his brother Karthi making his debut with Paruthy Veeran, Suriya says, 'he is fortunate to make his debut from the hands of Ameer. His dedication and confidence amazed me. Sure to go places is Karthi'.
