Arun Kumar aka Arun Vijay, who celebrated his birthday on Sunday, is happy at the way his career is shaping up at a time when he would get married on 1 December.

Son of yesteryear hero Vijayakumar, despite the good looks and histrionic skills, success has been eluding the actor. Things appeared to have changed after a good outing in Azhagay Irukirai Bayamai Irukiradhu. The actor is now waiting for the release of his next film Thavam, produced by Arjun, which he says will send his stock soaring in the industry.

Also he would be acting a movie titled Vedha.

The actor has gone in for a name change (Arun Vijay ) hoping for better fortunes. The soon-to-be-married Arun is over the moon now. 'Happy that I am entering matrimony when my career is slowly taking an upward swing.'
