A product from 'KB' school, Vivek's rise to stardom has been slow and steady. After playing a sidekick in several films, he announced his arrival with Thirunelveli.

His movies including Run, Valee, Minnale, Penin Manadhai Thottu, Saamy, Dhool, M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Youth, Dum Dum Dum among others won his enough accolades.

His serious portrayals in movies including Alaipayuthae and Boys deserve a mention.
