Actor-director Silambarasan is happy at the audience response for his Vallavan. The movie made it to the theatres this Deepavali and features Silambarasan, Nayantra, Reema Sen and Sandhya in lead roles.

The news is that Silambarasan is now planning to take a brief rest after Vallavan. He will be off to San Francisco and spend the next few weeks in his relative's house.

He hasn't decided on his next venture. It is said that Silambarasan might take up either take up Sundar C's Malai or a movie to be directed by another leading director.

Silambarasan was pre-occupied directing Vallavan for over a year. Now he has planned to go on a short vacation to San Francisco only to unwind himself from the hectic schedule.
