Actor Kamal Haasan today warned 'mischief makers', who are trying to defame him through posters (with his name) that hurt the sentiments of Muslims.
A couple of days ago posters were struck in different parts of the city wishing Kamal Haasan on his birthday describing him as 'Prophet Mohammad of acting'.
Apparently agitated, the volunteers of TMMK had filed a complaint with the city police saying that the sentiments of Muslims had been hurt.
In a statement issued by Kamal Haasan today, the actor, said, 'It is rather unfortunate that miscreants, under guise of being my fans, had struck posters this way.'
'My fans' welfare association has been staying away from politics and communalism. It is an attempt to tarnish my image. I warn those miscreants, who want to disturb communal harmony by such acts, to seek an apology'.
