Murgadoss, who is flying high after a resounding success with his recent Telugu venture Stalin, had been to Mumbai last week and called on Aamir Khan.

Asked about the meeting, Murugadoss said, 'We had a detailed discussion about remaking my Ghajini in Hindi. It is likely that the shooting would commence next year. Necessary corrections should be made to suit the Hindi speaking masses'.

Rumours were abuzz that Asin would do the heroine's role in the Hindi version too.

Sources close to the director say, 'It is most unlikely that Asin might do the role considering her busy commitment in Tamil movies'.

Kareena Kapoor has been approached for the role and she is most likely to do the character.

Allu Aravind for Geetha Arts would produce the Hindi version of Ghajini.

Aamir Khan is on a high after his recent release Rang De Basanti was nominated as Indian entry for the Oscars.

‘Post Stalin, several offers came to me to do another Telugu movie. But I am keen on beginning my Hindi movie and perhaps do a movie in Telugu movie later next year,’ the young director says.
