Director Ezhil began with a bang in Thullatha Manamum Thullum.

He is now keen to bounce back with his Deepavali which stars Jeyam Ravi and Bhavana in lead roles.

Thanking director Lingusamy for giving him the opportunity, Ezhil says, ‘It is a story of mixed emotions. Action, romance and comedy are mixed well in this commercial entertainer. Young guns like Jeyam Ravi and Bhavana have given their best try’.

On his part, Ravi said, ‘I am a local guy who speaks the typical Madras language. A huge set put up by art director Selvakumar resembling Royapuram market is a major highlight of the movie. It is an interesting role for me, which I relish doing’.

The rest of the cast includes Vijayakumar, V M C Haneefa and Vaiyapuri among others.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Vijay Milton.

Deepavali would hit the screens early next year.
