South Indian films are unfortunately hero-centric. Very rare for a heroine to get a good footage, says Nila, whoÂs Jambhavan was released last week.
Talking about the film, Nila, who made her debut in Ah Aah, says, 'After Ah Aah, I was keen to do a bubbly young girl role. Then came the offer to act in Jambhavan. It was quite to my liking. I am trying to forget the problems which emerged during the shoot.'
But that will take some time. Meanwhile, Nila has got a good break through Lee. It stars Sibiraj in the lead.
'Hopefully, Lee would fulfill the audience expectations, with good scope for me to perform,' she says.
Nila is on cloud nine now for noted Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt has chosen the actress for his next home production.
On glamour roles, Nila says, 'I feel glamour is my cup of tea. Trendy clothes are fine to give the sexy look on the screen'.
Nila's career is shaping up well in Tollywood after Bangaram.
'Now I am acting in a couple of big projects. Getting some good offers there. I would continue to act as long as I can. If offers get dried up, I will not be worried as cinema is not my bread and butter', Nila says.
